| OUR POLICIES
ADMISSION: We reserve the right to deny admittance to pets
lacking proof of vaccinations, and/or pets displaying signs of untreated or
potentially contagious conditions, and/or aggressive behavior. We reserve the
right to charge handling fees for excessively difficult or aggressive pets
requiring additional staff and\or additional time in order that we may deliver
proper care. Minimum age for all services is 8 weeks.
REQUIRED
VACCINATIONS: The essential vaccinations for your pet are
as follows:
Dogs: Rabies, 1 or 3 year
DHLP, 1 year
Bordetella, every 6
months
Negative fecal, 12
months, additional requirement for PlayCare
Cats:
Rabies, 1 year
FVRCP, 1 year
FeLV, recommended
but not required

weeks- DAAP (distemper/parvo), Bordetella (canine cough)
12 weeks- DAPP-L Booster (distemper/parvo/lepto), Bordetella (canine
cough)
16 weeks- DAPP-L Booster (distemper/parvo/lepto), 1 year rabies,
Bordetella (canine cough)
The Palms accepts
puppies 8 weeks and above. We require all dogs to have an updated
Bordetella every six months for all of our services. Your animal is
not required to receive a Bordetella at 8, 12 and 16 weeks
consecutively, but only every 6 months prior to your stay with us.
All vaccinations record must be from a licensed veterinarian.
Additionally, we require that you maintain a year-round treatment for ticks
and fleas in order to protect our resort from any contamination and thus
protect all of the pets. We recommend topical solutions such as Advantage and
Frontline. These products are available over the counter or from your
veterinarian. We do not suggest collar
prevention methods.

Check
In Time begins at 1:00 pm :- Pets arriving before 1:00 pm are welcome with no extra fees, but your
pet may have to wait in a holding area until their unit is ready.
Check
Out Time is 12:00 pm Monday – Saturday: - Additional boarding day charge will apply after that time, unless
your pet has requested a bath or groom. Pre-paid departures only on Sunday
from 3 PM - 5 PM, full day boarding charge applies.
Rates & Services: All rates and services are subject to availability and
change.
Facility
Meal Plans: Our meal plans use only premium diets and are ideal in a
boarding situation. Or, your pet may stay on the same regimen while at home. If you
choose to bring your own food, please prepare each meal's serving size in a
separate baggie with your name on it.
Emergencies: In the rare case of an emergency,
we contact you, your vet, and utilize our local veterinary emergency hospital.
For any health concern that may arise, our pet care professionals maintain a
detailed log and provide it to you and your veterinarian.
Payment:
Payment in
full is required at the time of checkout. We accept payment in the form of cash,
check with valid driver’s license, Visa, MasterCard, American
Express, Discover and debit cards. We
reserve the right to request a non-refundable deposit on all services.
Sunday check outs and September 3, 2007 check outs will be charged for a full
day boarding, and payment in advance as required.
Upon admission for services, your signature
of contract acknowledges your awareness and acceptance of our policies. Thank
you for entrusting your pet to our care.
